I never leave reviews…. But after reading all of these bad reviews, I’m not surprised at how terrible my experience with Dr. Mark Clark was.He didn’t listen to one word I said, EVEN if he knew he couldn’t treat my condition, the bare minimum of respect and professionalism would have been appreciated.I was the ONLY patient there, and still was dismissive towards me. Tossed the paper to me & as he’s walking out of the room “hope you have a great day”, & that’s it. Nothing else.Odd behavior, he should be fired.

We made an appointment for 3:30 arrived at 3:15. Waited in lobby for 40 minutes before any staff member appeared to greet us. We finally paid our $50 copay at 3:58 was given a form to fill out that was already completed on line before we arrived.You could hear people in the back laughing and carrying on.There was another patient who arrived just after us and then left 20 minutes later when no employee came out to help or greet anyone.All I can say is yikes!!

Came in with no appointment, for an injury I had gotten over the weekend. Even though I had waited too long for stitches, they took great care to Steri-strip the wound and update my tetanus shot. I was in and out within an hour, from walking in the door to exiting. Super efficient, very friendly.

I officially filed my complaint against Dr. Mark Clark with the state of Massachusetts and licensing board. I am committed to ensuring that he will never talk to patients in this manner over the phone. Yeah yeah yeah (hangs up) - well, let’s see how your professional license standing is.Absolutely unprofessional, AFC should be ashamed of themselves for employing these types of undereducated, unprofessional, unethical doctors. Reading these reviews confirm that I was right about this man and its reputation. Don’t be dragging down the respect & dignity that other doctors earn in public, Mr Clark.

My visit at AFC urgent care was alright. I went in as a booked appointment. Wait time was about twenty minutes after my appointment scheduled time. Provider sent a script and the pharmacy did not have it in stock. I called to get an alternative, a girl by the name of Chayanne (i dont know if spelled correctly) assisted me throughout the way. She ensured that there was an alternative script in stock at another pharmacy. She was very attentive and called me back with status updates. Thank you so much Chayanne ! Kudos to you !

When you dont feel at all well, and know that help is to be found at the touch of a button and in the comfort of your own home, what could be more comforting than that? Skilled professional advice and prompt diagnosis. Perfect!

I am very pleased with the service at this urgent care. They were able to accommodate me without an appointment. The wait was short and the staff is well trained. They are friendly and knowledgeable.

First virtual visit, call was on time, which made the process easier and more convenient. Doctor was very caring, showed empathy, and helped expedite prescription.

Arrived on time the young lady at the front desk was very pleasant and efficient. I waited approx 3 to 5 minutes before I was called in. I saw PA Victoria a very nice person she went through my symptoms (URI) and prescribed some antibiotics. In all I was in and out in under a half hour. The whole experience was excellent, I would definitely recommend AFC in N. Andover over Inconvenient MD. anyday.

I am between PCPs and needed my asthma inhaler refilled. I was going to make an appointment at an urgent care center but it looked like all the appointments were taken today, so I decided to book a telehealth slot instead. The connection was terrible but the doctor was very helpful, nice, and efficient.

I needed it to get a DOT medical card at the last minute they took me in. They had provided me with excellent service , kind people and very cleaning environment. Well respect the people. Would Recommend to anyone that needs a d o t medical card. To not hesitate and come here.

Did not have to wait much probably because I went during afternoon period. Front desk staff was very polite. Nurse who took me in was friendly and patient. And doctor seemed experienced.

Went in on a Sunday evening after hitting my head on a cabinet door. I checked in online and headed out the my door to AFC urgent care. Arrived at 4:55 and was in my car driving home at 5:25 with 3 staples in my head. Everyone was pleasant and the whole experience was seamless. Highly recommend heading here instead of an emergency room.

Quick service, walk-in. Pleasant staff. assistant who took info was extremely thorough.Dr. Shirley (sp) gave me a chance to get medical relief until I could get appointment with my doc.In short: exactly what I needed in a short caring visit.

My experience at AFC Urgent Care North Andover was great! I completed the necessary paperwork, within minutes was brought to my exam room, an assistant asked me a few questions and took my blood pressure, and within 10 minutes a doctor examed me and I was on my way with a prescription sent to a CVS right across the street! My primary care was so busy that they couldn’t even fit me in and I really needed to see someone right away! They were attentive and very efficient! I am not someone that goes for a doctor visit very often but when I do it means I cannot wait. I will go to AFC Urgent Care North Andover going forward without hesitation and will also mention them to friends and family!

Have used this location several times for both my kids and myself. It’s very convenient that you can reserve a time but also the people there are all SUPER nice and knowledgeable. I also appreciate that it’s clean inside, check in / appt process is well organized and it’s conveniently located near a CVS/Walgreens.

I made an appointment for my son who was having ear pain today. Our doctors offices and local walk-ins were closed due to snow. I had put the symptoms and reason for visit scheduling on the request. However, when I got on the call, they said they cannot diagnose or treat and ear infection over the phone through telehealth without a physical visit so I’m a little bit upset that I would be charged for a visit and I will not be I was not able to receive care or Antibiotics.

Unbelievable doctor knew exactly what to do it was funny I went to Andover first and I accidentally made my appointment for Methuen the second time in the same doctor ended up being in Methuen that I saw an Andover she was an absolute delight she made things very very easy for me I was an extreme pain and I didnt feel a thing when she cut open and drained an abscess I had in my armpit

Great service! Suffering from a sinus infection I was quickly diagnosed and prescribed medication to get me on the mend. Scheduling the appointment was easy and when I arrived they triaged me early.

I Went in because I had a sprain. The Doctor that helped me was very professional helping me throughout this painful process! The front staff was very helpful as well! I would recommend for all your urgent care needs. Very professional staff!

Had a great experience. Logged an appointment in the morning for 11 AM, got there about 10 minutes early, was in and out with a diagnosis by 11:20. Very pleasant doctor.

Ive been here twice now and Ive had a positive experiences both times. They are well staffed and friendly. The office is bright and clean. They work efficiently. The Dr. was very nice and knowledgeable and he setup clear / concise next steps for me.

I don’t typically leave reviews but i was pleasantly surprised by this urgent care. This was the fastest doctors visit I’ve ever had! It was incredible. It was quick and efficient. I felt like the doctor actually cared about what I had to say and my concerns and left there happily. I highly recommend this urgent care to everyone!

Saved a spot online from home first and pre-registered. Waited maybe 3 minutes when I arrived before being seen and the provider Scott was very helpful and the folks out front were very nice and helpful too :) update 7/3/2023. The antibiotics prescribed made me very nauseated and in order to get a different prescription for the visit I already paid for I have to go back in because the different provider at the same location will not provide an antibiotic that doesnt make me extremely nauseous. So now I have to stop an antibiotic 2 days after started and one is never supposed to just stop an antibiotic. And I have to work and cant get there for 2 days.

I usually do not write a review but I had a fall and decided the next morning I needed stitches in my eyebrow. I originally called convenient md and they would not help me schedule an appointment! I did not like the carelessness of the girl on the phone so I tried AFC urgent care and they helped me out with an appointment later in the same day but soon after realized I really needed to go asap. So I walked in they took me within 10 min! The doctor was very cool and gave me 4 stitches very fast but very very good. He was a military guy in his past so he did the best job. I’m glad to say I will probably not have a scar because he did a nice job and he had a good sense of humor and that helped me not feel so scared to get them. 5 star experience for sure

Went in still sick after having Covid... Good thing I noticed they needed referal from my Drs to take my mass health ... Dr Gabriela ? Very nice lady patient and willing to explain WHat TO DO AND NOT DO to get better...

MISSED DIAGNOSED MY SON WITH A HEART CONDITION. CARDIOLOGIST STATED THEY PUT THE LEADS ON WRONG. GO ELSEWHEREEdit : HILARIOUS HE SAID THIS IS NOT TRUE. WE WERE A NERVOUS WRECK FOR A WEEK UNTIL WE COULD GET AN APPOINTMENT WITH CHILDRENS. IF YOU DONT BELIEVE ME I WILL SEND THE BILL AND SYNOPSIS OF THE VISIT. IM CONSIDERING SUING

Went in for a strep test and when they swabbed my throat they really just swabbed my tongue and it came back negitive. Went to get a second opinion at a different urgent care in North Andover and that test came back positive. I think they need some better training. Been going for years but my last few visits haven’t been as good as when I first went.

Immigration Physical went super fast and smooth. Nicole was super responsive and able to get me through the process in extremely short timeframe. Much appreciated and definitely recommend this place!

I came here to get treated for my ankle that I knew was probably sprained the front desk employees were amazing especially Silvia!! She was extremely helpful and made sure everything would be taken care of the xray tech was also very sweet and made sure I was comfortable. However, Dr.Liu Xiaoli was not that helpful she read the xray and told me I had no fractures which was what I suspected and told me it was a soft tissue injury and I asked if I should wrap my foot or keep walking on it the way it is and she said “oh you don’t have ace bandages at home here’s 1” and told me to wrap it. She said it would take 3 weeks to heal which was odd and should be known it was 8:09pm and I was brought back at about 7:20ish. It seemed as though she was in a rush to leave. I’ve worked in the medical field for several years and I have never seen such unprofessionalism.

I called to check if it was busy and they said they werent so I got an appointment for 15 minutes after I called. Walked in, checked-in and 10-15 minutes later, a nurse brought me in the room for vitals. She checked my vitals and did some nose and mouth swabs to get some samples for testing. About 20-30 minutes later, the Doctor came in and gave me the test results. I received my sheet with directions to help my illness and description of prescription medication to take. I appreciate the prompt help with friendly staff and also like how there werent any other sick people in the lobby, unlike most hospital waiting areas.

This is a wonderful urgent care service, they are so professional, quick, clean. They are the Best, I recommend this place 100 percent. 💯

Made an appt online last night for this morning. The online platform was very easy to use and made the check in process so much faster when I arrived. The woman at the front desk was very nice and the young assistants were professional and efficient. The doctor was a very nice man and he listened and made sure that I was comfortable with my treatment. Thank you!

Came here today with my 5 year old because he suddenly came down with an ear infection. Each staff member we interacted with was kind and friendly and each staff member made my scared 5 year old feel comfortable and eased his anxiety.

Please do not waste your time coming here. I have never experienced such lack of professionalism from a provider. I brought my 2 year old son here with an ear infection, my son was holding his ear in severe pain and the provider, MARK CLARK dismissed him and told me to try checking a dental office because his ears look fine and there wasn’t much more he could tell me. FIRST OFF, what’s a dental office going to do for son?? And SECOND, how is a provider going to look at a two year old that’s in pain and tell his mother, “I don’t know why he’s acting like that”. I then went for a 2nd opinion to Convenient MD urgent care in North Andover, the NP took the same protocols MARK CLARK took and she quickly diagnosed him with a double ear infection. Stating his “ear drums were super red”. I don’t know how or where this poor excuse of a human being got his license in care. From the minute he stepped into the room, he looked like he didn’t want to be there. In all honesty, I don’t know how someone can look at a 2 year old in pain and neglect them any care. It was as simple as diagnosing him and prescribing my son antibiotics but instead he wanted to look at my son as if a two year old is faking an act.SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR TIME.

I went into AFC Urgent Care for a relentless cough and congestion. I was greeted pleasantly from the assistant at the front desk, and was seen shortly after check in. The doctor was informative and helpful, and was able to diagnose me, and provide necessary medication for healing. I was very pleased with my urgent care experience here. I highly recommend them.

Went to clinic with eye issue.Was seen within 10 minutes of arriving, diagnosed quickly and was on my way to CVS for my prescription within 10 minutes.

I took my 2 year old daughter today. The provider Jill was amazing. I was really nervous about her breathing. Jill the NP listened to my concerns. She was so kind and compassionate. The actually facility could use some TLC. it was pretty old and kinda dingy looking but the service I got for my baby was 5 stars. Jill was wonderful, I would go back there just for her!

Easy to book an appointment online, was also able to preregister, which made check in fast and easy. Didn’t feel rushed by the PA at all. She answered all my questions and was very helpful and caring.

We had an exceptionally efficient and caring staff who updated us throughout our scheduled appointment. The attention to detail was not missed by anyone working at this clinic and the patient service was some of the best on record, to-date. I had exceptional service that I have rarely encountered at urgent care. The nurses and doctor had a great bedside manner when I had to get a splinter out that was a lot rougher than I anticipated it being (becuase I can get very Squamish) and we’re right on top of helping me and getting me through it and keeping me calm. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

They spent five minutes with my mother. Did not listen to her and just said “if the pain gets worse call an orthopedic”. When the pain had already been there for over a week. Mark Clark couldn’t have cared less, we spent more time in the waiting room. Also they said they didn’t have x-rays available but we walked by the open x-ray room. Will not go here again. There are much better ones in the area, if you are really sick I would recommend going somewhere else.

The staff were very professional and I was in and out. I think urgent care centers should be open 24/7 and leave hospital emergency rooms open for the more serious medical emergencies such as heart attacks, strokes or brain injuries from a virus or an accident.

I regret visiting this location. I was mistreated by the PA Mark Clark December 1st, 2022. He had no bedside manner and made me feel very unwelcome. He didn’t look at me when he walked in the room, he was very rude when I asked questions and made me feel very unwelcome. What a disappointment!!!Then after looking at me he didn’t know what to say, walked away to go to his computer and came back with a diagnostic that’s wrong. And an antibiotic prescription I didn’t need!!! I had to get a second opinion just to confirm that he was wrong.What an AWFUL EXPERIENCE. The place seems to be very overlooked, the care was the worst experience I ever had and to top it off the bathrooms were so dirty and the front desk seemed unhappy to be there as well.I would recommend to stay away.

Excellent service: knowledgeable and polite. I’m a physician and was seen there as a patient. The nurse practitioner, Jill, was exceptional. Highly recommended. I even told my wife she should bring our kids there when needed.

I have been so sick for a week. Made an appointment online …… easy peasy. The staff was amazing and very caring.My only complaint was I tried to call on the number that was sent me with the reminder but it kept disconnecting after the first ring.I will definitely use them again should I need to be seen urgently!

To be brief, their website is easy to manage, and when you have the information (license and insurance card) it is painless to preregister. Getting an appointment is so easy and there is zero waiting when preregistered. The medical team surpases my own doctors practice and they do know what they are doing.

Service was very prompt and we waited less than 5 minutes to be seen. Had to have Covid Oct for travel. Nurse doing test was excellent. The staff from the evening before assured us that they had just received a shipment of kits and would be able to complete our tests the next day. Happy!

Terrific experience at AFC Urgent Care today in North Andover. My son needed an updated sports physical and the AFC team scheduled and completed our visit in a timely manner. Nice too and professional. Highly recommend!

Have been here many times, and have brought my kids here as well. Staff is AWESOME. They were so kind to my kids & even gave them both stickers! Doctor was awesome & I would/will definitely be back if needed!

I have gone to this Urgent Care several times and have often been met with short and unfriendly responses. Also, they often require appointments even though this h should be a walk-in clinic. The rest of the staff has been great.

I would give a review score of 1 based on the front desk treatment we received, and a 4 based on the actual services.When we walked through the doors of AFC North Andover for care for my elderly mother, Maria and Morgan at the front desk were incredibly rude to us. The way they treated us was dismissive, biased and verbally aggressive. When we told them they were being impolite, they responded with If you dont like it, go somewhere else!. We will not be going anywhere else. This is our community and we are paying for the services they have committed to providing. We treated them with respect and expect the same in return.Maria and Morgan are not quality employees. Im shocked that AFC is employing people of low character and customer service skills. Hiring not one, but two, substandard and uncultured employees as the first impression with patients in our North Andover community, or any community, is disheartening. I expected better from AFC.Then - we met Chris and Kayla (both absolutely amazing). Chris is the sole reason we are giving this place a higher review. He listened to us when we wanted to discuss the poor treatment by his front desk staff, then took steps to escalate our concerns. As a professional, he went above and beyond to provide immaculate care to my mother. We could not have asked for more excellent service. He is not only wonderful at what he does, but he also advised us on the best way to be seen by Lawrence General. His advice worked. We are here now and were prioritized over other patients in the waiting room. Thanks to Chris.

It’s tough because the staff is so wonderful. I don’t get the feeling they’re the reason the service is poor, it seems like the company needs a restructuring of how they operate, and maybe hire a few more nurses. I’m on day 4 waiting to hear back X-ray results for an infected finger. I’ve left 2 voicemails. At this point I’ve performed home surgery. Not a lot is based around urgent care here. Again, the staff is lovely.

Had a wonderful experience with Urgent Care North Andover today. Set an appointment online for a concern and when I showed up I made the mistake of showing up an hour early but somehow the friendly and accommodating staff found a way to take me early. Everyone was helpful and kind. Thanks again!

I made an appointment at this Urgent Care for what turned out to be an abscess cyst on my back, that had been causing me severe pain for a number of days.I had no idea what was wrong, or what would happen to me during my initial visit. Lucky for me, Dr. Nolan Duffy and Nurse Becky were on staff that day.Becky evaluated and determined that I did, in fact have an abscessed cyst. Dr. Huffy, along with Becky’s vast experience in dealing with such a situation, guided me through each step of the drain and removal of the cyst. They were super informative and made me feel as comfortable as possible during the procedure.Anyone who has gone through this knows that it’s not a one-and-done visit. Numerous follow-up appointments are required. Every Doctor and Nurse I have encountered during my follow-ups have been great, however the one person who stands out as exceptional is Becky.Each time she has seen me, she greets me by name, and shows a truly genuine care and concern for how I’m progressing with the healing. Her bedside manner is superb. Anyone who goes to this Urgent Care and has Becky as their nurse, should consider themselves fortunate.To Becky, she’s just doing her job, but to me, she going above and beyond. She should be commended for her wonderful work.

Went for a physical for my masters program. It was quick and painless (literally and figuratively). It was also inexpensive and easy to book an appointment.Most refreshingly though, every one of the employees was polite and pleasant.Would definitely use their services in the future.

We had a great experience with ACF Urgent Care North Andover. My child had a cold and needed clearance before returning back to school. Scheduling Covid testing online through the site was super easy, registration also made simple. Upon arrival, we checked in for appointment time and asked to wait in the car. Received a call not 5 minutes after for screening and asked to come in, went right into a room with lovely MA. All the staff was quick, efficient and kept us in the loop on next steps and wait time. Will definitely come back if needed. Very convenient location and parking access.

AFC Urgent Care North Andover ,They are wonderful. Front desk very polite and is very helpful. The Doctors are very nice. And other staff . Very organized there, not a long wait either. Testing is Quick and simple, fast . If you need covid Testing this is the place you want to go to . No waiting long hrs for results. Ty

Been struggling to get into my PCP and AFC was able to get me in for an appointment next day. Saw a great NP named Jill who was caring and thorough. The online registration process was very clear and easy, too!

The place has gone down hill. They never answer their phone. My wife went here for a strep test and the doctor prescribed antibiotics. They never provided the lab test results. She went to CVS to find out they didnt call in the prescription so when she went back, the doctor was not there and they wouldnt provide her with the prescription. They recommended that she come back for another appt. She then went and did a telehealth the Convenience Urgent Care and they were able to provide better service.

My daughter woke up vomiting completely randomly and I thought nothing of it, but since she also had been having a rash I figured I would get her checked out. I registered online and within 15 minutes we had an appointment and were in the checkup room. Although we were greeted grumpily by the receptionist, the Dr. was more than kind and gave me no grief over how minor my daughter’s problems turned out to be… My motto with my kids are usually better safe than sorry…

I’m always happy with the knowledge of providers. Never had any issues with treatment or billing. The place is clean and friendly.

Everyone on staff Was friendly and professional. The MA and especially the nurse/doctor woman that I saw (don’t have her name) was great, I could actually tell that she cared about helping me. I will definitely go back in the future if I need to.

Worst urgent care experience ever..from entering to exiting the place.Appointments was quick and i got it same day.Receptionist was super lazy, fully extended on her comfy chair with bare minimum voice, i had to ask her to repeat what she is saying multiple times.I went there for my kid’s sickness, but the doctor there seemed to be least bit bothered, he just came in checked my kid’s ear quick quick quick gave an antibiotic and i felt something really bothered him as soon i for a medical letter for my kid’s school. He was just finding a way to turn away (like many times) to end the visit, but unfortunately had to turn back to answer my questions most of the time. It was the least interest i saw in a doctor when meeting a patient.Edit: adding a point - The assistant doctor to check the blood pressure and initial check up was very nice.I am not returning here, but i hope if the hospital can address this, it can help some patients..

Easily made an appointment on line for this facility for Covid testing. The staff continually updated me with text messages right up to the time of the appointment, advised me when to check in to minimize exposure with other patients. Staff was thorough and professional. Received printed results in 15 mins. Recommend this facility for your medical needs.

I am asthmatic, so I had an acute episode and scheduled an appointment, and they got me right in and assessed my situation, and gave me a breathing treatment, and got me on my way with the needed medications. But that wasnt what got them the 5 star the Dr. understood the severity of my breathing and made sure I got the necessary treatment to feel comfortable enough to send me home. Its terrifying struggling to breath. You just dont know if this will be the last time. You always think you have more time. But asthma can be ticking time bomb when it flares up. She was well versed on my condition which is always important when your dealing with a life or death situation. Evey moment count when someone with asthma is in crisis. Thank you to the team that took care of yesterday. I LOVED THE NEW DOG NEBULIZER 😍 IT WAS CUTE!

I have to say I had the best experience for my daughter. She has been sick the past couple of days. And they took her right away. Amazing care from the staff . Very friendly and efficient. Thank you!

NOT AFFORDABLE healthcare. I had just moved here and was having terrible symptoms: sore throat, achy body, headache etc. I was concerned that it could be Covid so I went here to get tested. I am unemployed and do not have health insurance yet so $169 for a visit is A Lot for me. The receptionist was rather rude in explaining that I had to pay that fee because I needed to be examined by the doctor, that I couldn’t just get a Covid test. I will say that both the medical assistant and the doctor were both extremely nice. My issue is with billing. It turned out that the incompetent receptionist had charged my card for only $1.69 instead of $169. So 5 days later I get a phone call from the Methuen location saying they need to collect the rest of the payment. The next day I see that I was charged $217.31. At the visit I had specifically asked if the testing being done was included in the cost of the visit and was told yes. After seeing the additional charge and looking at their fee structure I realized that it’s because there is an additional fee for a throat culture they did. I was NOT informed of this charge at the visit, OR on the follow up call to collect the rest of the payment. The woman who called me only said I was accidentally charged $1.69 instead of $169. She made NO mention of the actual amount I was going to be charged. Huge lack of transparency about what I was being charged, and huge waste of money since all my tests were negative. I just paid over $200 unnecessarily when I can’t even afford living expenses.

The booking process was really easy & the staff members who helped me through, what I expected to be an uncomfortable process of COVID testing, made me feel really comfortable and at ease. The facility was clean & felt safe. Overall a great experience thanks to the team

THESE CLOWNS CANT EVEN PICK UP THE PHONE! I have called three times and the third time this girl spit out three seconds of jibberish and all I got was please hold and left me hanging on the phone for 15 mins! Dont give some covid or other excuse, its because you dont know how to run a business and treat the public with decency and respect!Horrible waste of time!

I’ve used the AFC Urgent Care in North Andover for myself on three occasions. Each time I pre booked my appointment. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and the wait was minimal, which is a bonus when you aren’t feeling well.

I have never experienced such a negative interaction with a provider, and regret visiting AFC North Andover. Dr.Richards bedside manner was nonexistent and his tone condescending throughout my visit. He did not ask me any questions regarding my son, to get the full picture of symptoms. He was not reassuring with his responses and unwelcoming - to the point where he made me feel like me and my sons presence in his exam room was bothering him. His eye rolling, Sighing , short and gruff responses throughout the visit were inappropriate. Lastly , when asking for aContact to email a complaint to in the lobby, he came out and started yelling at me - publicly confronting me in the lobby. This was intimidating and unprofessional. I left AFC upset and emotional. I will never visit this location again , and urge parents of young children to steer clear.

They never called me to tell me my covid PCR test turned positive. I was assured at my appointment that they would call if anything was positive and if I did not receive a call it meant everything was negative. I only found out when I called them to ask. They had the results since Tuesday and I called them on Thursday. Calling patients with test results is extremely basic, to fail at that is unbelievable. I would not trust them with any kind of care as they are clearly incompetent at the most basic level.

They were really efficient today. I had to bring my child in for a rapid test because of symptoms and I was shocked at how fast it went. They weren’t allowing walk-ins (probably because of all the people getting a test for travel during the holidays) and the whole process was fast & efficient. I would highly recommend booking if you need a C-19 test

Just finished a telehealth session and it was so easy! My Nurse Practioner was knowledgeable and easy to talk with. I highly recommend!

Great services provider help me well virtual visit

Went to AFC this evening with my husband and three children for Covid testing preflight, there was a lot of people waiting and only one person on the desk. She was courteous and professional, as was the nurse who performed the test. Results in 15 minutes. Excellent service!

Owner obviously has no idea how to run a business.Pretty terrible. My appointment was at 11:37am. Went in to get RAPID tested for COVID and had to run out at 12:20 while waiting for a provider due to other commitments. Apparently they can’t give you results unless you wait hours for a provider to see you in office. Not sure who has time for this. Had I known this I would’ve never wasted my time with this place. THANKS A LOT!In response to the owner’s response: check your system for 8/19/21 at 11:37AM. And waiting in office for an hour for a rapid test result is absurd. At any place with a clue the test is administered and the results sent to you as they become available so you can carry on with your life.

I went to AFC Urgent Care because of a pinched nerve in my shoulder. I cant say enough positive things about my experience. Everyone I encountered were kind, polite, knowledgeable and caring from the receptionist to Renee`, Ashley and Rick the PA who saw me. My wait was relatively short. The facility is clean and well staffed. It was a very positive experience at a time when I was not feeling my best. I would definitely recommend this urgent care facility to others.

The staff and docs here are always great. I have depended on them for quick and effective treatment whenever I cannot get into my own primary care doc quickly. They are thorough and they always follow-up post care to make sure I am well. Great people to deal with.

AFC has provided excellent care to me and my family. They employees are very knowledgable and thorough. I find all the office to be very clean and always take you on time. We are lucky to have AFC urgent care facilities in our area. They are truly a great assess to our community.

I had to go this morning because I wasnt feeling well. I made an online appt yesterday and was able to be seen first thing this morning. Both the tech and the PA were wonderful. Treated me great and explained everything. My son has also gone here and had good experience too.

Extremely professional and well organized. Had to go for my daughter’s physical. Took an online appointment and reported 10 min before. People at reception helped in getting the required forms filled and we were done in another 30 min. Highly recommended !!

I walked in on a Sunday morning without an appointment for a DOT physical and was greeted very kindly. The staff was very helpful and sped things along nicely. Jill the NP on duty was very pleasant and always had a big smile which kept me very comfortable. I would highly recommended this urgent care in N Andover for all your needs and especially accommodating DOT physicals on a Sunday. Thank you !!

I had my immigration exams at this clinic. They were super attentive and agile. Everything was ready in 3 days!

I was seen and evaluated quickly. The thoughtful nurse practioner was able to assess my injury, made some recommendations , and wrote a Rx on the spot. I went across the street to CVS within minutes and the Rx was ready, just like the NP stated. I was grateful for such a positive experience and to start my medication right away....

Always my place of choice!Since no one does the Rapid Antigen test in northern New Hampshire we stop here for travel covid testing and then onto the airport.Pleasant welcoming staff and very efficient. The RN even came to the car to deliver our (thankfully) negative test results and off we sped.Time spent 40 mins.+/-. and satisfying to have the test result in hand and not wait for an email.Definitely keep this on your radar screen for travel purposes but remembering there is a fee approx. of $59. which for me is totallyworth it!

My wife and I were tested for covid-19 Thursday morning. We each received email messages with links to get the results. The link my wife received work and she got her results. The link I received did not work and I did NOT receive my results. As a result, our household is still on lock down because there is a person without a negative result test. I have emailed, left multiple messages, and now most recently a staff person hung up on me when I finally managed to get to a live person. If they cannot handle the call volume, the testing volume, or delivery of test results, then they should not be in business and most certainly not offering medical services. Patient first? More like patient ignored.First Update: Later in the evening I received a call from the person who hung up on me. Apparently she though better of her actions and first offered to send me the results but only by the same way that was not working earlier. She refused to send me the report by email citing HIPPA. When I explained that a patient authorization could overrule HIPPA, she would not accept that. She then offer to let me pick up the results at the facility. Of course that required a person supposed to be quarantined to go out.... I picked up the report handed to me through a cracked open door. Good news, it was negative.Second Update: An AFC relationship manager texted me to address the issue. I texted back indicating that I would not do it by text or by telephone and provided my email address (which AFC already has) for an email discussion concerning the issues. No response. Seems like the contact was an attempt at window dressing. I texted back again, still no response. It seems to me that failure to timely deliver test results is malpractice.Third Update: When we scheduled the appointment, we were quoted a price for the test. They took our insurance information and submitted the charge to insurance. But the charge they submitted the charge to insurance, it was at a much higher price and also included an upcharge for urgent, even though it was scheduled more than a week in advance (might have even been more than two weeks in advance. It seems to me that charging the insurance a higher price and with an upcharge is not right.

I visited doctors express today and was helped by Lauren. She was excellent! She made me feel very calm and was great with drawing my blood even though I hate it. Quick and painless. Dr. Conti was my doctor and he was great as well. They both made me feel very comfortable during uncomfortable procedures. I highly recommend them both!

Unfair business practicesI was charged close to $250 to irrigate my right ear, even if I was told on the phone that the fee would be $169 ( visit and treatment). Upon arrival, the receptionist explained that “she just noticed that that there is an extra fee for the irrigation.” Her due diligence should have been done when I called and asked about their fees before making an appointment. Further, I explained that I did not need a physical since I just saw my primary less than a month ago, and that I have had this procedure before. So they did not give me one.The entire process took less 10 minutes. Instead of honoring what I was told over the phone, they told me that if I did want to pay 169 for the visit + 75 for the irrigation, they would not be able to help me.There were people behind me waiting and it was too embarrassing to keep arguing my point I paid.

We had to get a covid test for travel and with tightening restrictions had less time to get the results. AFC made it easy to make an appointment online. We were take in right at our appointment times and got the PCR results we paid for within the hour. Highly recommend!

This location was incredible efficient, clean and friendly. I’ve never enjoyed going to a doctor’s office and I have to say, I was more than impressed. I had a terrible sinus infection and was signed in, taken back and left with my prescription all in less than 15 minutes! Everyone from the receptionist to the nurse to the PA were extremely welcoming, helpful and competent! Excellent quality service!

I had to take my daughter to Doctors Express today and hands down, it is so much easier than going to the emergency room or pediatrician. We have been to the North Andover office three times in the last year and we have never been there longer than an hour. The front desk staff are always friendly and efficient as are the doctor/N.P. and support staff. So much easier than having to wait for a call back from the pedi office only to have to go there, wait and then go elsewhere for x-rays. Its nice to have another place to go for urgent, non-emergent care!

Had to share as I typically don’t write many reviews. We had a little Covid scare and needed to get tested ASAP. The staff at AFC did a great job of getting us in there quickly and were so kind and professional. Thank you AFC! We are lucky to have you in our community keeping us all healthy!

Everyone from the front desk to the nurses and X-ray tech were so incredibly nice, personable and easy to talk to. I was in and out within an hour of getting there, which is a lot better than any other urgent care I’ve been too. Thank you to the staff at afc for taking care of me today! You’re all wonderful

The care given at this facility was excellent, from the receptionist to the nurse practitioner. The recommended treatment in the office brought great relief and I am sure the prescribed medication to follow, will finish the treatment in the same way.The friendly staff really enhanced the visit. Since Im away from home, it is comforting to know that this urgent care office is nearby.

I had a somewhat emergent situation with my 4 year old this evening and rather than running around and making it an even more terrifying experience for him, I called the facility (at 5:15) to confirm they could put in stitches and that they were open. They confirmed both, but informed me that they close at 6, but stated that if we could arrive by 5:30 we could be seen. I told them I would leave immediately in order to have him treated. I loaded both my young children in the car, rushed to their location and arrived at exactly 5:22 pm. Upon entering, we were told (extremely rudely) that it was past the time they would accept patients and we needed to leave. I explained that I had just called and was told we could be seen as long as we arrived by 5:30. They stated I needed an appointment and otherwise a doctor would not see us. If this establishment won’t accept patients after 5pm, they really need to update their listing to state such, and if they only accept “appointments” they should not be listed as “Urgent Care.” I am absolutely appalled that they would turn anyone away 40 minutes prior to “closing time” (with one person in the waiting room), but especially a small child. Additionally, their extremely rude receptionist is inneed of customer service training. STAY AWAY!!!

I had a small accident and cut myself and had pretty bad bleeding, but not bad enough that I wanted to go to emergency room. Luckily, a quick google search found the AFC doctors express near me. I got there just before closing time at almost 8. I was immediately taken into an exam room, and within 20 minutes was all done; two stitches and ready to go. everything including paperwork was super streamlined. Dr. Conti and the staff there were so warm and friendly, and despite my visit meant they had to stay late (after what must have been a long day), they showed only cheerfulness and concern for my injury. The follow-up visit was equally quick and easy. The most pleasant medical experience I ever had, and I normally wouldnt describe needing two stitches as pleasant. I would definitely recommend this walk-in clinic!

This urgent care is wonderful the staff is very friendly and Shirley the no was so nice she was able to take care of my issue and prescribe a medication. I would not hesitate coming here have been multiple times and have had great care by all th drs.

Daughter had allergy cold symptoms for few days. Decided to visit AFC UC in North Andover today to rule out Covid, Strep, Ear Infection, etc. Registered through online portal, selected time for appointment, received immediate confirmation and reminders. Arrived 10 minutes early and was checked in right away, then sent to car for triage. Called right away and seen. Everyone was pleasant, professional and very helpful. We were seen and processed and done within 30 minutes. Great experience!

My second time there. The first time I was directed to another medical center that could handle a potential emergency for me.This morning, I arrived without the proper credentials. The front desk was patient and walked me through it. We met personable medical professionals who diagnose my son’s sore throat very quickly. They provided a detailed checklist of what we could do next. We were in and out in 30 minutes.

Really professional staff. I called to ask about specificity of the antigen test they offer to make sure it reached UK requirements ( it doesnt fyi- get PCR if youre going to UK) and the receptionist knew all the answers and was very helpful. Appt was perfectly on time and I was in and out in 5 mins. Ive brought my kids there a couple of times for urgent care and they are thorough with assessments. I have never felt like I am in a for profit medical chain. Staff also appear to work well together.

I went to the AFC Urgent Care facility in North Andover today for an armpit cyst. The staff could not have been more friendly or efficient. My NP DIORA MARTE was awesome! She made me feel comfortable throughout the procedure and when the removal was complete, she took the time to answer all my questions. I would not hesitate to recommend this Urgent Care facility to friends and family. Thank you for relieving my pain and discomfort!

I saw Steve (PA) today. Not only is he pleasant and funny he is very knowledgeable and took care of all my needs. I live in Haverhill but will travel to N. Andover to see them and go no where else! Steve was compassionate and caring. As a nurse I know what I should expect for treatment and Steve went above and beyond! Thank u Steve! Receptionist was extremely sweet and did her best to get me seen quickly. Nurse was efficient and thorough, very sweet and friendly. I highly recommend them!

My elderly parents had a possible COVID exposure, so I needed to find a local testing center who could take 3 people all together. The staff was wonderful, polite, and efficient. Would highly recommend.

My husband showed up at 4:45 today and there is nobody in the parking lot or waiting room. A girl finally came out from the back and said they couldnt see him today. Why advertise you are open? I went in to AFC after sustaining a knee injury today. The walk-in was clean and I was greeted and attended to right away. The medical staff were all super friendly and professional. Bonus was that there was a television in my room so I watched whatever I wanted in between vital, x-rays, etc. Would recommend to anyone!

I am in excruciating pain on the right side of my left knee. I can’t walk, can’t put any pressure on my leg and walking is unbearable.I walked in to the Urgent Care and stated the issue. The receptionist was new so that was ok understood. So I get Nurse Ratchet and she could have cared less that I could not walk . Since when can a person not do a walk in?She said she was too busy today and come back tomorrow! Really! Then she said very rudely then go to ER.Won’t recommend this place

Call to set up a COVID test. No one answered and voice mailbox was full. Set the test up online where I had to put in my credit card info and agree that if I was a no show that I would be charged $50. I was able to get the test done elsewhere 5 days before my scheduled appt with AFC and so I tried to cancel my appointment. THERE IS NO WAY TO CANCEL THE APPOINTMENT; you cant get through to anyone and it goes straight to voicemail. There is no email address listed. In this way, I would be on the hook for $50 for not showing up to an appointment that I was happily willing to cancel with 4 days notice. Out of desperation I ended up calling 3 other locations and was finally able to get through to one. The person was nice enough to cancel my appointment for me. So, that is basically what it takes to cancel an appointment with this franchise. Beware.

I have recently been to AFC for COVID testing several times and as stressful as it could be the staff at AFC has made it an easy, comforting experience each and every time. The staff is always welcoming and makes it stress free each and every time. I would highly recommend booking your appointment here if you need to get your testing done for COVID. AFC Urgent Care is a great place to get medical help based on your schedule - staff is very helpful and patient, they always have availability, minimal waiting time. Very convenient, just wish they were open longer in the evening. Thanks for all you do, guys!

Really disorganized. Staff was friendly albeit seemed like they didnt really know what they were doing. Had to go in twice to get blood drawn, and had someone new digging in my arm. She kept having to go ask questions to someone else, was a little scary. They asked me to come back the next day to try again (free of copay) which seemed to push the (different) staff off. Even the doctor I saw seemed very disinterested in seeing me. Ill never go back.

Making my appointment was very easy and straight forward. I was taken on time and seen very quickly both by nurse and doctor. I was in and out in less than an hour. Very satisfied with this urgent care!

I went to get a rapid Covid test at 1:50pm per my appointment reservation. I waited almost an hour before someone asked me “why are you here” after already talking to another nurse upon arrival (where I arrived 15minutes early). I explained to the nurse that if they could call me to tell me my results that would be appreciated because the last time I was tested the portal link didn’t work. After not hearing back I called the office twice, and was answered only by the answering machine. Finally at 8:03pm I received an email (mind you the facility closed at 8pm per the answering machine). What do you know, the link they sent me did not work (again), so now I will not be able to see my results until I call in the morning, and maybe get a hold of someone in an efficient timely manner. In conclusion, I was very disappointed with the neglect and service I received today.

Last weekend I was experiencing a burning rawness in my throat and upper respiratory area with a mild cough, I made an appointment and was seen by nurse practitioner Michael Cook. I explained my symptoms, and he told me I wasn’t sick, I just had heartburn and to cut back on the soda. I told him I didn’t even drink soda and hadn’t eaten anything abnormal, and that I’m 30 years old and know what heartburn feels like, and this wasn’t it. He laughed at me and was incredibly condescending, told me a cough is normal with heartburn, and discharged me with a recommendation for heartburn medication for immediate relief. I felt humiliated and stupid, but I trusted his advice and treated it as heartburn even though the medicines weren’t helping and my symptoms grew progressively worse. By the middle of the week my cough had gotten so severe that I was vomiting, couldn’t sleep, and no suppressants helped. At this point I had spent over $100 total on medicines for heartburn, for the cough, and copay to AFC. I went back 5 days after my initial visit, anxious and embarrassed and worried they were going to laugh at me again, but not knowing where else to turn for help. Luckily I saw an entirely different staff who took me seriously and made me feel comfortable, and within 15 minutes I had a positive Covid test and a prescription for the cough. All week I had been suffering, I had been exposing the people in my life, and believing my whole sickness was in my head. I was gaslit into believing I wasn’t sick by this man who didn’t believe me that something was wrong. It makes me sick to know that as an overweight person, the immediate dismissal of my common Covid symptoms as drinking soda or eating unhealthy meals causing heartburn put so many at risk, including myself. That I was laughed at when I argued back about my own health. Despite the staff on my second visit being wonderful, I do not recommend ANYONE go here for ANY REASON, especially if you are a woman and/or overweight. I called to speak with a manager that day and have yet to hear anything back. Thankfully, I am on the mend and after finally being taken seriously, am started to recover. No thanks to Michael Cook, who 2 years into a global pandemic doesn’t think two of the most common symptoms are worth paying attention to.

Went for a Covid test. A small wait time but free wifi made it go by fast. Smooth process, was out within an hour or so. Sign up and reserving my time online was easy, and the staff was friendly. The test didnt hurt at all.

It is usually not a phrase one associates with a doctors office, but I love this place. Prompt, courteous and professional .... and friendly. I have been here probably 4 times in the past year. It is open late enough so that I can get there after work. I trust this place which is huge when it comes to medical care. If I could, I would even make it my primary care, but that is not its business model. Even so very convenient and a go-to if you are busy and cannot squeeze in a doctors visit or in between primaries.

Took my 85 year old mother there this morning. She has dementia and the staff was so patient & caring. They took their time and explained everything to her multiple times. The doctor came in 2 times & answered the millions of questions I had. They also explained all the ways I would get the results of her Covid test. Id go back there in a heart beat.

Happy to say I am not a frequent flyer, but every time I have gone I have been seen quickly, professionally, and given outstanding care. The MA and staff care about my well being and always call after the appointment to make sure I am feeling better and do not have questions.Finally, they are not just a business in North Andover, they are a part of our community. I challenge you to attend a NA function, race, or event at the common and not see Doctors Express.

This is my first time at an urgent care. What a wonderful experience. From the front desk staff to the nurses to the doctor to the beautiful and clean facility, I could not have had a betterExperience! The exam rooms even have TVs !If I have to go to urgent care again , this is the place.

The care I received at AFC Urgent Care North Andover was friendly and efficient. I registered online prior to my appointment, however, I kept receiving messages to complete my registration. Just a little annoying.

Easy and quick. Make sure you make an appointment because they might not have a walk in available. But totally painless and easy, made it great with having a baby with me. Quick in and out and got my covid result in 10 mins while in the office.

Needed a rapid result test due to a family member testing positive. Was able to get an appointment within 2 days, really like the online scheduling, and everything was handled appropriately and in a timely fashion. In under 2 hours knew the results!

I went to the Urgent Care Center in North Andover after driving 8.5 hours from my home in the Washington, DC area, to receive treatment for a very severe case of poison ivy I contracted from my dog. The staff was extremely helpful and I was seen within an hour of my arrival time. The Doctor was very cordial, apologized for the waiting period (Ive waited for much longer periods of time in the past...not a big deal). I was immediately treated and my prescription was called in by a member of the staff to the neighborhood drug store. The cost of the visit was nothing (a few years ago I went to the emergency room at a local hospital in New Hampshire and the same treatment and much longer waiting period cost my almost $700). I a now a big fan of the Urgent Care Centers for routine illnesses and injuries, and will not hesitate to visit them again should the need arise. Thank you for the wonderful care you provided to me, to make my life more manageable and comfortable while visiting my family in the Massachusetts/New Hampshire area.

My husband hurt his hand and we just needed some X-Rays. We are so lucky we have an alternative to the emergency room and we went to Drs Express. He was seen in about 15 minutes, and yes his hand was broken. He got a temp cast, referrals, good advice and our X-Rays on CD, without having to endure the circus of the emergency room. The staff was great, thank you!

This was perhaps the worst experience Ive ever had. The employees were nice enough but how..... does it take almost 2 hours door to door for a steep test. My office is 5 min from the AFC in N. ANDOVER. I cant believe I was gone over 2 hours. They were lost and forgot I was there I could hear them talking. One RN said hes discharged the other said isnt the door still closed? Horrific.

I called today And I was told I had to make an appointment. As soon as I got off the phone there was a message that they accept walk-ins. So I went to a different place. Obviously this is a sign of incompetence. I called at 1:00 for an appointment for testing I was told to go to Riverwalk and when I got there I was told to go to North Andover. I was not going to list. So they put me on the list and gave me a long form which requires me to pay up to $250 without explanation. None of the people I spoke to seem to have a clue about me and my appointment. It was a detestable experience. Ive had good experiences with the Andover urgent Care but todays total disregard and stupidity and waste of time undeemind my confidence. Stay away from covid testing. Find another place.

Im giving it two stars because the staff who checked my niece in were all incredibly nice, kind and patient. The physician assistant who treated my niece was useless. She was visiting from out off state. When she arrived she thought she caught a cold, but after five days of using over-the-counter products that didnt help it became a sinus infection. The PA gave her a rapid COVID test which was negative and then insisted on giving her the PCR test. I had to ask the PA to listen to her lungs and look at her chart, since the PA did not once do either of those things. The PA doesnt believe in prescribing antibiotics until after two weeks so my niece was left untreated. I guess people are expected to not go to work or school for two weeks as their condition worsens. Or just spread the viral infection around to others if they cant stay at home for two weeks. Very disappointing. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

I booked an appointment 24 hours in advance of needing to come in. My time was 12:56 I have been sitting in this parking lot for an hour. I understand people need lunch breaks but why book appointments between 1-2:00 if you know the staff is taking lunch. This is ridiculous. I will not be back and may not even enter the facility at this rate.

I had a bad experience here. We were away on vacation and stopped here because my daughter was sick. I described her symptoms and asked if I should go to the ER instead since I hadnt been to an urgent care for anything serious. The receptionist said they could help me. Another staff member later told me that the company requires her to say that. The provider politely said he didnt have the equipment to do a test that she needed based on her symptom of shortness of breath. I agreed to do the other tests that he could provide. The tech came in and did a strep test. She later came in to do a blood test and put the supplies needed including the pipette (that she was going to draw blood with) directly on the counter next to where the TV remote was placed. I am accustomed to seeing medical staff put instruments down on a sterile cloth. I asked her if she could get a new one now that it had been on the counter. She said it wasnt going to be used on my daughter. She then put on gloves and proceeded to open cabinets, drawers and even left the exam room for awhile. When she came back in, she was about to prick my daughters finger while still wearing the same gloves. I asked her to put on a clean pair. She was very polite and did, then went to the trash and touched other things before pricking my daughters finger. Thankfully, the point was hermetically sealed prior to use. She then grabbed the pipette, that she just told us she wasnt going to use, to siphon the blood fromher finger. I stopped her before she used it. We left. I’m married, have 4 kids, 2 elderly parents and have been to many doctor and hospital visits over the years and have never felt the need to comment on procedures or ever leave in the middle of an appointment.They also never called my cell or home to tell me my daughter’s strep test was positive. She went to her own doctor later and was found positive for strep throat. When I called the office to see whether or not her results were positive, the receptionist told me they had no results because there were no tests taken. They did charge my insurance and charged my account for the copay. Hopefully, our experience was an isolated incident.

Ive been here twice. Once with my husband that had sprained his ankle and once with my toddler that was running a fever. Both times we were seen promptly by a professional. They were able to call a prescription to my CVS and faxed a note to my employer. The treats and drinks in the waiting area are a nice touch.

Ok love this place! We moved to the area recently and have had a hard time nailing down our primary doctor so we’ve come here if we need to be seen and they’re quick and kind and the whole experience is just very user friendly!

Very confusing system. I scheduled an appointment for Covid 19 test. I provided all documents , my drivers license , my insurance information and all things requested. They didn’t ask me for a credir card or any sort of payment. When i arrived at the clinic , they asked me to pay. The receptionist insisted it was clearly emphasized that i should pay.obviously , it was not. If i have known they wont bull my insurance i would’ve gone to Lawrence testing Its free , adequate and fully efficient.

Ive been here a few times now and am so grateful that they are here. Its so much better coming here rather than the emergency room at a hospital or not being able to be fit in at your doctors office. Today I was seen by Dr Conti and was in and out under an hour. Great staff. Great facility and really great to have them so close. As always thank you.

Easy in and out to check if my daughter had a broken toe. Total time there was a little over an hour and the entire staff was friendly to my 9 year old and to me. I will definitely keep them in mind for future trips versus ER.

Very nice receptionist! The nurse was great and really nice. Went easy on the nostrils:) The doctor was also very nice. I would highly recommend!

Walked in with allergic reaction to my face and they were closing in 10 mins and told me to go to the other clinic down the road. Couldn’t believe they turned me away.

This facility has disappointed me on multiple occasions, and I will NOT be coming back for any medical assistance/appointments. AFC’s system is terrible, especially their registration system. I needed to be seen this week because I have sinusitis, so I reserved my spot online. I clearly clicked “Visit 1” while registering and selected NO for COVID testing, as I already get tested weekly. I go in for my reserved time, and the front desk tells me that I selected “visit 3” which is strictly a COVID test/travel screening. If I selected to get a COVID test, WHY WOULD I CLICK “NO” FOR “do you need a COVID test?” The staff then offered no assistance and said I would have to come back days later, even though the entire waiting room was EMPTY. So I took my business to MinuteClinic at CVS and they were SOOO HELPFUL!!

My experience at AFC North Andover was amazingly quick and very thorough. They helped me with my issue better and faster than I had expected. Jennifer W. was so helpful and she explained the procedure. I would definitely go back and recommend this place to friends and family 100%

Not pleased with this place.-Set up the online portal for a covid test. Fill out the questionnaire. No known exposure, no symptoms currently.- Get to the place to find the receptionist on her personal phone without a mask on and also had left the prior persons signed paperwork with personal information on the patient side of the front desk- Check in. Answered the questions the same. No known exposure. No symptoms currently. Concerned that having just traveled to Florida and being around thousands of people unmasked there is a good chance of exposure and seeing kids this weekend as well as a few friends that are unvaccinated I thought it was best to get it checked for their safety.- Receptionist says ok youre all set, go sit down. I asked if there is a charge or copay and she stated, no, my insurance will bill me.-I said ok and sat down.-Ive been tested one time prior to surgery in March and had no charge so have no experience in covid test charging to know otherwise.-I get called into the room and tell the girl the same thing for the 3rd time. Nope, no known exposure and no symptoms right now.- She immediately accuses me of insurance fraud. I said what fraud? Ive told everyone the same exact thing.- states she needs to talk to the provider- comes back and again accuses me of insurance fraud and tells me Ill have to pay out of pocket. I asked how much, to which she said its $100(or $99 maybe) because Im just doing it for peace of mind and not because I need it. Provider refused to come in. I left-when youre traveling, it doesnt count as being exposed unless like a travel companion calls you and is like, hey I tested positive, you should go get checked were her exact words- Ive never committed fraud in my life and I dont like being accused of such. I told everyone the same answers. If the site told me a price or the receptionist said it would have to be out of pocket then thats fine, I could have made the decision to proceed or decline at that point but instead I get accusations of fraud when entering the room when Im just trying to protect my friends and family.*****Regarding response.-Yes, there are acknowledgements on the site, however, no actual costs to make a decision before booking without digging (poor practice). Like I noted, answered no known exposure.- Sites like these are not necessarily updated often and if one never went onto the site before, would not know the accuracy or what it said previously.- Further adding that if the site talks about an out of pocket cost, you ask the receptionist what the cost is, and they reply, none, your insurance will bill you and youre not familiar with medical billing for this situation, then the choice is either to think the site is lying or the receptionist is lying and quite frankly, with how things change with covid, not unreasonable to believe the person in front of you has the most up to date information as opposed to the site.- Teach your medical assistant how to address people. Accusing fraud is not the way to handle things

Great service. I suspected I had broken my toe which is a problem since I am a runner. Going to the ER is overkill for such a minor injury but I wanted to find out if it was broken. I waited for about ten to fifteen minutes to see someone and went into get x-rays directly after. Not much can be done for a toe but they taped it and gave me crutches. Very prompt and courteous. I hope I dont need to go again but would recommend as a great walk in service.

I am visiting the area and had an accident this past weekend. I went to the Lawrence general emergency room on Saturday and was told I should follow up in 3-5 days to make sure my wound was healing correctly. They recommended I come here. I went today and the doctor was terrible. He spoke as if he was talking down to me. Assumed I had no records and didnt even ask for them. He scolded me because I didnt I know what medication I was prescribed. I then handed the records over (would have given them earlier but he never asked, just scoffed at the fact he didnt have anything from the emergency room). He basically asked how I thought I was doing and left it at that. No instructions. Barely looked at my cuts. And then told me if it gets worse not to go back to urgent care. I didnt appreciate being talked down to the whole time. Im probably going to be billed a stupid amount for this worthless trip. I am very disappointed with my care.

I am a healthcare worker who recently started exhibiting covid-19-like symptoms. I called with doctors orders for a test already obtained. They wanted their own facility doctors orders, which I understood. They gave me a number which was supposed to get me in touch with someone to screen me and put in orders. I called many times with no answer and an abrupt disconnect, so that I was unable to even leave a voicemail. I wanted to call the urgent care clinic again to confirm the number was correct. Again, I had to call many times with no answer. When I finally got an answer, it was from an extremely rude woman who said shed seen my number many times and that she was only one person and she proceeded to chew me out. If youve seen my number, then you can only assume it is urgent. If you do not want to answer the phone, pick a different job. I would simply like to know if I have covid-19 so that I can return to work and it was extremely off-putting to get chewed out by a receptionist when Im sick and worried about my patients.

It was so easy to register and book an appointment online. When I got there I didn’t even wait five minutes. Friendly and helpful staff that got me taken care of right away.

I’ve come here multiples times and Tina is the best PA i’ve ever seen! She is so knowledgeable and really focuses on giving the best care possible. Each time i’ve visited, she’s helped me so much! I would highly recommend this urgent care because of her!

Ive fallen ill twice in the last year on those oh-so-inconvenient weekend days when my PCP is too busy to even pick up the phone. What to do? Well I headed right on down the street to the Urgent Care. In both instances, I was seen quickly, treated with respect, and the staff were more than competent. More importantly, on my first visit, my assigned doctor saw me and knew that my ailment was beyond the diagnosis capabilities of the Urgent Care, and he sent me to the ER right away. I find that many people will try and do it themselves, but he knew when to admit that he didnt have the tools and get me on my way to recovery. I even received a follow up call from him that evening to check up on my condition. Definitely above and beyond! My second visit was for a more pedestrian case (Strep Throat). They were able to see me, run a swab test, and make a prescription in no time at all. I highly recommend the Urgent Care for those emergencies that arent immediately life threatening.

This is my “ go to” place for urgent care. Professional , friendly staff. Easy pre-registration .. I have always been seen quickly with positive outcome and always a follow up call afterwards. Doesn’t get better than that!!!

Quick and very friendly service, thorough exam, medical personnel really listened to me and respected the information I provided about my symptoms. This company is also very community-friendly: for the last few years they have generously donated to North Andover High Schools overnight graduation party, run by the parent-volunteer SOS Committee of which I am president. If you want to call 25 times and get no response this is the clinic for you. Urgent care? No more urgent than a tortoise crossing the street. When you finally do get through to their office you are chewed out by an extremely rude receptionist who is aggravated by the number of calls she is receiving and seems to not take calls from the same number if you call multiple times. They have no voicemail box, no hold line, but rather your call is disconnected when you cannot get through. Extremely rude, unprofessional, and unlike most healthcare institutions. I understand there is a high traffic of calls with covid-19 but that is no excuse to blatantly ignore phone calls especially regarding people’s health and safety. When you ask what else to do to get in contact of make an appoint their only response is to keep calling. So, if you plan to visit their Andover location get a comfortable chair because you will be sitting by the phone all day.

Today I had the pleasure of helped by Alicia and Dr. K. Both were extremely easy to work with and very knowledgeable. Jenn is also top noth, very funny and delightful. If you find youre not feeling your best, this teams attitude is just what youll need.

Unable to comply with the requirements of DOT school bus driver RMV forms. Refused to fill out the RMV SCHOOL BUS CERTIFICATE APPLICATION form which requires any DOT examiner to fill and sing.

Ive been here a few times for my children and love this Urgent Care!!! They are friendly and quick and have been right every time with each Heath issue. I will continue to come here and have referred friends and family.

Went to AFC Urgent Care North Andover to get a COVID-PCR test for travel. They required us to pay cash and did not accept our Blue Cross Blue Shield coverage. They do not respond when BCBS contacts them to provide payment so we can receive our reimbursement. We finally did get through to them and they said at the North Andover site if you pay cash for service, they will not put a claim in to the insurance company. They did not tell us that at time of the testing.

When trying to get through to them on the phone, it is next to impossible. I didnt get my results for my rapid test on the same day. When I finally got through to a representative, the next day, she said she would email my results. She did but I had to go through their portal and I did not have a user name or password to get into their portal and I got no directions on how to do it even though a rude representative said I did. I kept calling back on two phones until I got through sgain and another operator helped me get my results. Another problem is that I had an appointment and waited fifty minutes before I got my test.

Any doctor I have had has been awesome. Jill Ciccariello was so kind and it was quite clear she knew her stuff. She always has the best solution to any issue I have had( asthma, virus, etc). I will not go anywhere but this urgent care.

Fast and courteous. I walked in at 6:00 on a Friday nod they saw me within five minutes did the nessesary labs on site and send the script to the pharmacy. Everyone was awesome. Cant say I look forward to needing thier service again, but if I do I will certainly go back.
